Try that BS with a bank or other financial institution if late with a payment. 

But this isn’t a bank. Context matters. I can justify the end of the week to be on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or even the very earlies hours of Monday morning. I provide the reasoning for all of them. Somehow you never quote that part. Nor do you ever show that any of them are wrong.

They’re a business, and standard business hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 (you could possibly stretch that to 5:30...). If they specify something occurring outside that timeframe (up front), there would be an understandable expectation/understanding of the difference, but any “vague” statement of a comms deadline would reasonably be expected to fall within that timeframe. 

Whilst the universe and the English language allows for an enormous amount of flexibility on interpretations of words, a reasonable “standard, off-the-street human” if polled, would likely say “9 to 5 Mon to Fri is when I’d expect comms to be posted... any earlier is a bonus, any later is poor form...”

I think you’ll find he’s generally “the first” to escalate an issue and never “the first” to turn the other cheek. Conceding that Mark Knighton has either acted in poor faith on occasion or has questionable competence (based on missing such a vast number of estimates is not at all unreasonable...

i think you’ll also discover he’s almost exclusively “the first” to hone in on the pedantry of picking apart specific words of posters despite a quite clear inference; you’ve said he needs no defending, so there’s no need to defend.

As for it ceasing to be funny, that’s entirely subjective...

Personally, I’d much prefer to engage with Waytools (who have again missed a deadline they set for an update) but unfortunately dbk inserts himself into the [any] conversation and performs the functions of a shield - intentional or not, that’s the function that’s being played, and I can imagine many people would find that tiresome and irritating.

I can’t engage with Waytools on their forum as they’ve shadow banned me (apparently for “misrepresentation”, but anyone’s welcome to read my posts... I can’t see any “misrepresentation” there) so here’s the only place Waytools have popped their heads up.

It also wasn’t a dig at Poised. I would not have thought a response from him needed to be so quick. 

As for wishing my posts were made of silence, good news - just read without verbalizing out loud. 

Of course, now that he has responded, but won’t say what he thinks I should be posting about, I’ll point out the pattern of critics telling me how I should use post but can’t make a rational case. So it really seems to come down to they wanting to post any way they want, but not have anyone challenge them. 

Here’s a rational case; how about posting sensibly...
