Amazon's Eero 6 mesh routers refreshed with Wi-Fi 6 support
Yes, you will still need a bridge, I have over 100 bulbs and 3 bridges without any issues, also have lots of third party things too (like lutron dimmer switches)eero support is horrid, always scripted responses by people who know how to restart wireless devices and that's it. I have over 100 smart devices in my home and in the last few months i get lots of broadcast storms and they can't really help. I did have a cisco ccnp come over and he says the main eero is over loaded but eero denies it. Always saying things like, well you need to remove your managed switch or managed firewall and let eero control. First, I did remove the managed switch and it got worse. I can't let the eero control dhcp because i use a lot reservations to organize the network. It used to only do the storm on reboots with lots of arp traffic asking who has the gateway.. now they happen all the time with them all asking who has this IP.. it's crazy I can't get decent help from them except remove enterprise equipment (that means you shouldn't use these at work)... which just means I do have to cable my house and go to ubiquiti.. it'll make a better mesh.what eero does well is blanketing short distances with very good wifi.. when you have lots of zigbee 2.4ghz traffic due to hue lights, that's good!

Philips Hue smart bulb allows hackers to attack your network
While someone could see that I have Phillips Hue.. they'd have to be outside my home trying to connect to the mesh of bulbs. It's so unlikely it's not worth worrying about. The age of paranoia is simply gone beyond nutty. While I appreciate Phillip's patching this as soon as they could. I wouldn't care if I wasn't patched. Once inside my network, remember they are hanging outside my home... they still have to figure out passwords to things. It's not like it gives them magical free reign to work my alarm system .. or turn my computer on from the outside... or even access to it if it was on...
Web based passwords are my only concern... these things are not.

Apple debuts new $5999 Mac Pro with up to 28-core Xeon processors
While I get that people can make money with this tool, some of us make great deals of money without needed to design. I happen to love apple but also love the VR community. I can run my HTC Vive Pro (1300) on a 2000 windows desktop... why? Because I have too.. I am not locking myself into a video card in an imac or losing frames using an egpu box. There is literally NO spot for me in the mac community... this mac pro would do wonders for VR.. but you know, it's too much.,.
