Nice article Chip. You mentioned network router hacks. Today a UK ISP directed me to use https://www.samknows.com/technology/agents to check connection speed. This agent seems to be being installed quite widely on routers and smells like a dangerous thing to have lurking on a router.
triggered by accessing a website https://samknows.com/realspeed/ which then weasels its way onto your router to access privileged data, seems like an exploitable way of accessing network traffic.Now owned by Cisco, it started with good intentions, but looks risky. I’m reading this on my 8 year old iPad Pro 9.7”. Stutters like hell over the last couple of years. But feels so nice and curvy comfortable in hand. My experience with AirPods Pro are less good. I can’t use noise cancellation or transparency as the left one clicks as I walk. I also have a mic fault on the right one that makes a loud noise for the other person when on a call (so I’ve had to set the left one as the mic). Apple’s answer? Buy new ones.bloggerblog said:
