  • Coalition for App Fairness fears retaliation in bid to quash Apple subpoenas

So after Epic goes after Apple internal communications on various issues and dealing with other companies, they’re now complaining when Apple does the same?

    Fucking hypocrites.
They want it their way. In epic spotify and others eyes Apple is evil. Now all of sudden how dare Apple wanting to see documents so they can use in discovery or whatever else Apple may need to use the documents for. Rest assured all of these companies are trying to take the App Store down and I sure hope they fail

  • Apple employees threaten to quit as company takes hard line stance on remote work

Good gosh what a bunch of whiners. I drive a transit bus for a living. Did I get to take time off? No. Did I.threaten to quit? Of course not. Why would I. I still have a family to support. If you can’t hand the fire get out of the kitchen. Go ahead and quit! Apple will have you replaced before you can clear your desk out.

  • Apple becomes first public US company to hit $2.5T market capitalization

The problem I have is that most are not that big in reality. 2.5 Trillion in theoretical money. When Wall Street or the market determines these numbers are a massive bubble the markets will crash down to reality. The people hurt will be stock holders and employees with stock options maturing now.

There is really no basis for arguing that Apple's stock price is "a massive bubble." It's forward P/E of 28 is actually pretty modest by comparison for a wildly successful company that's a veritable money tree (actually a money forest) when it comes to earnings. Compared to its other FAANG stocks: FB is 26, AMZN is 63, NFLX is 52, and GOOG is 30. Or compare it to Wall Street darling TSLA, with a forward P/E of 129.

And as APPL hits the $2.5 trillion market cap for the first time of any company in history, it's a good time to remind ourselves that Tim Cook has no vision, has been an utter failure and that Apple is just treading water on crappy products and no new ideas until it inevitably fails. Yes, it has been a decade of doom under Cook since Steve died... and I can only hope, as an Apple shareholder, that Cook keeps "failing" like this for another ten years!
I know. I am surprised Tim hasn’t been fired by Apple’s board of directors. Gosh all of these failed products (although I am disappointed at them killing the HomePod, I just don’t think they knew how to market it. Was it a smart speaker was it an audiophile speaker) I am like you, although I will never see it as I have been diagnosed with terminal cancer, but yes I hope he stays on until he retires. We have a little over. 5k shares of AAPL and those will make my wife and daughter comfortable after I pass on.

  • AirTag used by Boston police to recover stolen bike

I see they say Apple don't recommend it but because of this story I am buying another 4 pack for our cars, not for children or pets but I suppose if our daughter was still in grade school we would put one in her backpack. Perhaps because of legal reasons, that is why Apple doesn't recommend it but man, it sure looks like it works for such a purpose. Glad the dude got his bicycle back using the AirTag. Matter of fact, great for the dude!

P.S. Any person owning a Honda or a Heavy Duty pickup in Pierce County, WA desperately needs to do this. The amount of Hondas and heavy duty pickups around Tacoma and its suburbs that are stolen daily just amazes me to no end.

  • IAC CEO says Apple is 'worse' than Google, likely the next antitrust target

Here we go again with Apple is a “monopoly” crap. If Apple was a monopoly like Standard Oil or Ma Bell then you would not have a choice would you?
who sells the most phones world wide? It isn’t Apple. Who sells the most PC’s? It is t Apple
who has the largest share of Office software? No it isn’t Apple.
No one is holding an effing gun to your head forcing you to be on Apple’s ecosystem. The big difference here is Apple has always charged the 30% fee and until very recently Google has started enforcing its 30% fee so now developers are angry (probably rightfully so) but at the same time it is funny to watch a lot of tech companies that did the Democrats bidding in the last Presidential election how they are now becoming the democrats favorite target because the democrats want that wealth back. Got to love Karma and her *itchyness. Loyalty is not a two way street.
