But what if there is NO problem? Would Apple still have to come up with a fake patch just to satisfy the conspiracy theorists? /S
That might actually be a very good idea.
Yes! The placebo affect is very real. Apple could release a patch that does nothing, and the masses would never know the difference. 🤣

  • Facebook details impact of App Tracking Transparency to advertisers

Boo hoo, Zuck. I’m happy to have ATT at last. I turned off app permission to ask, so I don’t even see prompts for permission. 😎

  • Apple now required to offer Russian iPhone users local apps at setup

Yes. I got sick of that. Part of why I switched to iPhone a few years ago.

Samsung went much further. They pre-install them on all devices, old or new, with a software update and users cannot uninstall any of those apps…

  • 'iPhone 13 Pro' has new colors & stainless steel coating, claims leaker

Your opinion. Personally I prefer a medium-sized iPhone like the 12 Pro. I need a screen large enough that it doesn’t cause added eye strain. I’m an IT pro and do a lot of work on my phone. I’m glad Apple makes a line of phone/screen sizes that suits different people’s needs.

As I have stated previously, all Apple needs to do is make the iPhone 12 mini a "Pro" version and the lackluster sales of that model will be reversed.

  • Is AppleCare+ worth it for iPhone?

What about an iPad. Much lower risk of damage. I’m thinking more of mechanical breakdown and batteries. Would apple care+ be worth while?
I didn’t buy AppleCare+ for my iPad Pro 11”. It never leaves the house and doesn’t get used everyday. I did buy it for my iPhone XS. My two years ends this summer, and I’ll get the battery replaced at no charge before it expires. For me, it’s not worth the cost of AC+ for an iPad. YMMV.
