NBCUniversal ad exec Linda Yaccarino will be the new Twitter CEO
9secondkox2 said:This. Article could really do without that last line.
It’s not like a hostile press didn’t earn it.
The real story here is that Twitter is on the up and up and is looking forward to a bright future. With smart, successful people at the helm.
Can’t wait to see it become “X.” Will dominate.

Apple is producing USB-C EarPods for the iPhone 15
Dooofus said:I seriously doubt it. It would be a step backward, as Apple has not made a wired ear bud product in years.
They still sell quite a few of them, apparently, according to a buddy of mine who used to work in an Apple Store (although it's been a few years). They're cheap, you can throw them in a gym or shoulder bag and always have them as an available spare if you misplace your AirPods or they need to charge or whatever. I've got a couple pairs of EarPods (left over from when they still came with the iPhone) and that's exactly what I use them for.

When Apple's headset launches, it will do more than Oculus
I'm not going to argue for or against the success of an Apple headset, but despite the cheerleading of people like Cook, Carmack, and Zuckerberg for years and years, the pathway for consumer relevance of AR/VR feels far less assured than the examples you mention, Macxpress. Consider your use-case, Hexclock: Sure, very cool idea. Worth $3000 to you? Really? Really?

Kroger stores start accepting Apple Pay for grocery purchases
Though the main Kroger stores are only just testing the waters, other areas of the empire already take Apple Pay. Some King Soopers, Ralph's, and Quality Food Centers already take Apple Pay payments. -
LockBit ransomware is now targeting Macs for the first time

But hey, let's knee-jerk put our op sec in Apple's hands because reasons. No company, no one company, should be in charge of your security, because they will always act in their best interests, not yours. Including (and especially) Apple.
