  • Apple's Metal 3 key to 'No Man's Sky' and 'Resident Evil: Villages' coming to Mac

Apple is just not into gaming in the way Microsoft ETC. are. And they never will be.
The #1 market for gaming revenue is mobile, not PCs or consoles. It's bigger than console/PC gaming revenue COMBINED. Apple is doing just fine with their gaming approach.
So, are you happy with the gaming options on Apple devices, including the Mac? That's great. I don't presume to speak for Beats, but I know I'm not. I won't spend even a dollar on mobile games and do my gaming on consoles and a gaming PC.

I despise this attitude that those of us who demand more should settle for less because it benefits Apple. I'll look out for my own interests, thank you.

Yah, that's Ori: Will Of The Wisps. Absolutely fantastic platformer. Was a genuine challenge to beat, with an excellent story.

Record sales in a down market so of course AAPL drops. Too many people with agendas trying to make money off of nothing. It’s an embarrassment the world is controlled by the stock market.
The "agenda" is people who constantly want to ascribe a purpose to the stock market other than making money. Like that the market is there to celebrate your favorite brand. I use, appreciate, and prefer Apple products. However, I would short AAPL in a hot second if I felt like that move could make me money. Or any one of a number of other market related activities: Hold long, hold short, filter my mutual or ETF holdings based on how much (or how little) AAPL they hold, and so on. That's what stocks are for. They are for making money. Period. Never invest with your heart.

I think it’s safe to say that Apple has terrible PR.  They don’t want to communicate for the most time.
They don't need to when people are so busy White Knight-ing here and elsewhere. Because that's what a $2T company needs: Free help defending itself on the internet.

  • Microsoft Edge poised to overtake Safari as second biggest desktop browser

Since Edge is only on Windows, and Safari is only on Mac, why does it even make sense to compare their market share? It's not like anyone is switching from Safari to Edge, unless they're switching platforms for some other reason.
Edge has had a Mac version for quite some time. iOS version too.

Edge on Mac is genuinely good. A nice alternative if you want a Chromium-based browser for better compatibility but don’t want Chrome.
