(I meant that all tongue in cheek -- I understand why it's blurred out and that is a good thing.  But I do find it odd that Tim is living in such a place.  If nothing else, it would be pretty hard to secure it against a serious criminal or assault.)

I mean, it is in Palo Alto. I've spent a lot of time in that area. Small houses and big houses and everything in between, but the hood it ain't. It's a very nice place to live.

Whoever wrote the headline to this story deserves a raise. Or at least the satisfaction of a job expertly done. A++, would read again.

I give them money because I prefer their service. I've had three free trials for Apple Music and conclusively did not prefer it. I have no specific allegiance to any one brand or company, I use a mix of services and software options by a host of different companies on (largely) Apple hardware, although I am perfectly comfortable on Windows. Not so certain about Android since I don't have a lot of experience with it, but I'm sure I could manage. 

Some of you are so focused on maintaining the Apple narrative that anything to the contrary is automatically trolling. If AI's handlers believe I'm trolling, I'm sure they'll intercede and I'll respectfully shut my yap and stop contributing here (not that my 50-60 odd posts matters much, I'm sure). I offered feedback, they can tell me to pound sand if they so wish, I won't take it personally, just like I don't take my technology choices personally. I use what works for me. You use what works for you. We both win. No company deserves our time as cheerleaders, however.

Fair analogy, but I'm not the one trash talking. 

No no, totally a fair question. I kinda laid that out in my first message: I think there's a ton of great stuff on AI. I've read more than a few of their "how to" articles thinking, "aww, I know that already" and it turns out—didn't know it as well as I thought I did. I love learning new things, and AI does a better job than most explaining complex topics. The rumor articles are interesting too, just to see where Apple is headed versus where the industry as a whole is. 

The stuff that's clearly written to "hit an audience" as sportsball-style fan service I mostly ignore, here and elsewhere, and I probably should've done the same to this article. Not sure why I chose to pull the thread, but as is often the case, now the whole sweater lays at my feet. I'll own that. I appreciate that people have been reasonable/measured in their pushback, however (yourself included).
