Mac user since 1995 and purchased an Imac G3 in 1999
I usually post here with a Macbook Air 2010 running Mountain loin- seems to me that no one really cares.
Switched to Windows in 2019, MojaveOSX brought me back in 2020!
that pic is my cat sitting on my macbook air from 2017

OWC releases new Thunderbolt 3 10G Ethernet Adapter
Id would buy one, but
Since 2001, I regularly purchased items for my iMac, powerbook, Macmini and macbook air until this May
I need to complain or alert someone who works there that i could not order parts in May because my user names, password was never updated.
I did the 48 hour wait and sent emails and social media posts.
So i purchased a feather something 265GB ssd for the macbook air on Amazon, which works great, has a blue light and was cheaper at the time.
Hopefully someone at OWC will see this and proceed in resurrecting my account.
sorry for being unrelated, but a mac user has to do what ever to solve mundane problems.

Google sued for 'blatant lies' about user privacy
gatorguy said:Try the same search in Google Chrome, "what company sold the most laptops this year" and you'll get far better results rather than sales offers, at least as the top results. Bing, the provider behind DDG, seems to be on a big marketing/ad binge at the moment and perhaps that's why you got what you did.
I read an article recently I think in PC Mag that stated HP sold 24% of the laptops this year. The article was about how work at home increased sales in the laptop market. I still cant believe HP was top, they do not make a good laptop, cheap perhaps. but they doubled Dell's sales this year.
i searched that key phrase in google.com and received the same info as ducksgo.

these search engines are just advertising and a platform for what information THEY want to broadcast.
Since last week, I am trying to find what company sold the most laptops this year, (HP twice as much as other brands)
all i get are the BEST laptops we should buy.
i have tried many keywords and phrases to no avail.
i am using duckduckgo
If i was a Government, I would sue every tech giant.
They would rather pay that $billion dollar fine then lose face.
