I dunno what Trump is on, but it's none of his business. The EU makes its own laws to benefit its citizens, just like the US does. The man's a megalomaniac, who just wants the world to be according to Trump. He needs to get his own house in order before commenting on others.

If I were to be tempted by a folding iPhone, it would have to be a flip. I loved my Motorola flip phone in the 90s - a couple of years ago a friend had a Samsung flip which was also nice apart from the very visible crease. But at $2,000+ (probably £2,000+ in the UK)? Not on your nelly 😱 maybe, when/if the price comes down once the R&D costs have been recouped. But that's all moot, seeing as Apple's offering looks like being a fold rather than a flip phone.

Trump obviously thinks bringing iPhone manufacturing to the US simply involves knocking up a factory with a conveyer belt and spending a couple of weeks training an army of folks to screw the components together. He should stick to what he knows and go back to his golf courses.

This article is dated 27.02.25, yet it says "This comes at an excellent time as Apple has just launched iOS 17 ..." therefore over a year old. Recycling articles is just lazy journalism. One would have thought the product has been updated since then.

I'm amazed anyone uses Apple Maps. Nine times out of ten when I use it, it takes me to the wrong destination. Google Maps, Waze and TomTom are fast more reliable. IMO.
