Please tell me they added video cropping system wide to macOS. Needing to get a video into Photos app on Mac to crop it, only to have it upload involuntarily to iCloud and then take forever to copy back out to my desktop, post-crop, after I drag it out, and then having to delete it from Photos app and empty the recently deleted folder, close Photos, share the cropped and possibly trimmed clip and then deleting it from my desktop is a lot of work most of which could be avoided if system level video cropping was added, like system wide photo cropping. Finder; Quicklook; QuickTime (needs a better name), etc. System wide. I got sick of sending this feedback to Apple.

In addition to an Apple Watch a less useful ring makes no sense.

They're not actually "ads". They're paid product placements. The app will show up more often in the 'You Might Also Like' section. It's like the difference between eye-level products in a grocery store (more likely to be seen) versus lower shelf placements. Companies pay for that too.

The ads that you see inside 'free' apps have nothing to do with Apple.

Say what you want about Elon (Tesla cars have many design problems), but he's gotten more done in Twitter in two weeks than the previous leadership did in a few years. Wouldn't bet against him.
