Say what you want about Elon (Tesla cars have many design problems), but he's gotten more done in Twitter in two weeks than the previous leadership did in a few years. Wouldn't bet against him.

What you suggested is essentially what Apple did. 

No it is not. iPad Pro does not have SD Card and MagSafe alongside USB-4. And previous gen iPad Air is not this iPad with Pencil one support and a stupid dongle.

Kill this iPad, bring back last year's iPad Air, rename it "iPad" and lower the price. Keep home button iPad around as education bulk buy.
