iPhone buyers worldwide may see higher prices because of Trump's tariffs
The Trump circus is probably more concerned about the US being at the leading edge of technology. Apple should make its most sophisticated and advanced components in the US. This would probably solve everything.

It's still cheaper to import iPhones with 25% tariffs, than assemble in the US
Apple would probably make Trump happy if they said they will manufacture the most sophisticated components in the US. Leave the assembly and manufacture of secondary components to other countries like China.

Go ahead, apply the tariffs. It would be very unpopular. Paying more for your Apple products, blame Trump. Boycott his hotels. Pickett the White House. Complain to your Republican representatives. Apple losing market share...blame Trump.
Why is Trump hammering everyone with tariffs? Perhaps partly because he's almost 80 and he wants to be worshipped now, he doesn't have later.
What would Trump do as President if he didn't have the tariff hammer? He wasn't in anything close politics before the Presidency. He doesn't care about societal or environmental issues. It's not why he became President. Without tariffs, all he has is expensive gifts...bitcoins...making deals to open hotels and golf courses around the world....

Trump demands 25% tariff on any iPhone not made in the US
Maybe Apple should just let Trump issue the 25% tariffs and let people in the US pay 25% more for Apple products. This situation would make Trump less popular and perhaps get some Republicans to act responsibly and shutdown Trump’s current dictatorship a-la-executive order…signed with what looks like a fraudster’s polygraph result
