Let's see… how might this go?

1) She is a control freak and he is totally whipped. Forecast: A life of misery for him, a life of drama for her (well, both actually).

2) They are both control freaks. Forecast: Raging drama all around, and the inevitable marital implosion. In the meantime, f***ed up children.

When you run out of ideas, you make up a solution for a non-problem and pass it off as the reason to upgrade way more often than necessary.

Tim Cook's obsession with thinness and pretty new colors for existing products is embarrassing. He should, or somebody at Apple should, focus on standardizing the interfaces within (and across) Apple's product line. The changes in settings, options, and processes from one product version (and OS) to the next would be laughable if they weren't so frustrating.

Steve Jobs would never, and I mean never, allow Apple's user experience to get so out of control.

How about this… for every $950 worth of merch you steal, you get a free year in prison — no exceptions, plea deals, etc. That seems equitable, as prison time is proportionate to the theft amount. It takes care of the one-off theft, and as for those who dare to rip off a company or retailer for hundreds of thousands' worth of merch? Well, talk about a disincentive!

If Apple treats Pixelmator like its own operating systems, we will see the interface rug pulled out from under us about once a year — just as we were finally getting comfortable with it. I swear, Apple's interface motto is "change for the sake of change (and job security), user be damned."
