Battery and camera improvements look good but will let Apple iron out the AI functionality and keep my 14 Pro for another year as it’s a rock solid device and sold me on Apple’s pro range (MBP, APP2, ultra 2, iPhone pro).

Great I can happily keep my phone and save money for another year. The health updates (on existing products, non iPhone) were the most exciting device features but actually look helpful though. Apple presented as if positioning themselves as a high end retirement brand for us disappearing middle class westerners, haha. 

I’ll pass. If iPhone 17 Pro isn’t a big leap forward, I might ditch the iPhone platform. Other premium phones are gruntier and have better features. And what’s with the puny 8gb ram in 2024…

Well the evidence does more or less point to ‘social’apps being regulated as R16 or R18. That said, beyond whatever it is kids are doing that is causing so much harm to one another (and perps who may be lurking), adult SM feeds are now full of so much baited, lame & irrelevant content, profilers and hackers that SM is surely dead in the water anyway…

I can never figure out why Apple are so stingy with storage, ram and graphics. Providing decent specs, as well as the ability to upgrade and repair, would be such an easy way to further differentiate themselves in the market as an integrated software and hardware company…
