Other reports claim it may be related to File Vault 2. Couple that with your own mention of the Photos app, I'm not sure there's a strong enough case to be made (yet) to say it's "likely third party software" at fault.

It does seem troubling that such an issue could strike these new models so soon after release, and especially after similar graphics problems had impacted some MBP 2011-13 models.

One wonders just how much emphasis goes on Q and A these days. Perhaps they need to spend a bit more time and money on that. Otherwise it's going to cause damage to Apple's reputation at a time when patience is already wearing thin with many pro users.

Im sure she's a breath of fresh air st Apple. And not because of her ethnicity. Because she's an amazing human being. look up her life. A genuinely good person in a world full of fakes, liars, and wolves. 

I hope she is blessed much in her career and her life.

If that's a photo from the conference then that's probably the most topical one to use. Yes, the picture doesn't do her justice, but that's just how it goes, and I speak as someone who is about as photogenic as a week-old zombie.

Seriously, I'm no fan and was a bit put off by parts of her demo at wwdc but I think she, as anyone would, deserves better than this. 

I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what all of you are complaining about. I must be looking at a different photo because, I see nothing wrong with it. It's a nice photo of a beautiful woman. Also, why are you so obsessed with a single photograph on a tech site anyway?

I've used Automator and Applescript intermittently over the last few years. It's a powerful tool. I'm sad to hear this news. I really hope that they do not eliminate this functionality. It would be a big mistake. As usual, it's so hard to know what Apple's intentions are.

Seriously though, I think it's a welcome and positive message at a time when many people feel much anxiety over the direction that the country will be heading. Apple and Trump seem at odds over so many issues. Let's hope Trump's more controversial proclamations do not turn into enacted policies that damages any of Apple's/Cook's principles.
