Oh that's wonderful, maybe I won't need my latest toy now after all?

Correct. I'll be by soon to relieve you of this burden.
LOL, actually you don't know how close you are to the truth.  Burden is right.  I have it on trial and at my age I just may not keep it, even with an Alpha mirrorless at seven pounds after an hour it feels like ten times that holding it without a tripod or a mono pod.  I really need one of those motorized upper body exoskeletons.  OK watching the Avengers on Disney+ I admit it.

  • Disney+ accounts hack highlights need for more password security

Whilst Disney's programmers are at it they also need to fix the app for Apple TV.  The way Apple TV works with the Apple TV Remote to change audio input (e.g. switch between HomePods or other Audio system) is to swipe down.  In all apps such as Netflix this is honored.  In the Disney app this has been purloined for a different use.  That's poor beta testing on their part to miss that.

  • Apple's new 16-inch MacBook Pro reveals its future direction

This article essentially sums up why I have decided to wait another year or so before getting a new Mac Pro.  I strongly suspect there will be a major refresh of its innards in the pretty near future.  I've just bought the very reasonably priced 27" iMac 5K i9 with the upgraded GPU and added 64 GB of RAM to tide me over and I am keeping my Trashcan in service too.  The iMac is very nice I must say and it is the first one I've ever owned.  My 2018 MBP is fine for me too, I've never had an issue with the keyboard and I love the Touch Bar.  In fact, I wish Apple's standalone Magic keyboard had it.

  • Future versions of Apple's Siri may interpret your emotions

I thought at first that Siri was getting better but now it seems to be going backwards. Functionality that I had a few months ago is gone. I used to be able to ask Siri the percentage of battery charge on my iPad which was helpful if I didn’t have my glasses on and couldn’t see the little battery amount. Now it says I’m sorry I don’t know the battery status of iPad. Also, I  used to be able to ask Siri to read my email, now it just opens the email app. And I used to be able, when dictating a text message and realized I had forgotten something, to just say “add” and she would say go ahead and add that to my text, now the added portion is all that gets sent. I just would be content if she would resume her old functionality.
Yes I've seen some pretty weird goings on like that.  Not related as such but all of a sudden certain artists can't be found in my iTunes Match by HomePods even though they are there on all other devices.  I have to assume Apple is hard at work tweaking Siri's back end (pardon the expression lol)  and these are anomalies caused by this and hopefully temporary.
