Apple makes case for Apple Watch Series 2 Christmas gifts in new ad series
The best way to recover from a dip during your run is to slow your pace. What you never should do, is to stop running and lean against a tree, as shown in the ad. It is not really a great way to promote the Apple Nike watch.
Perhaps the watch should warn you to slow your pace if your heart rate is running high in order to prevent the runners's dip? The best way is to monitor your breathing and heart rate yourself however.

Rumor: 10.5" iPad Pro with 'A10X' CPU to ship in first quarter of 2017
The iPad needs better software, not more screen sizes.
E.g., I cannot fathom why the iPad has not got a native Weather and Calculator app. These are actual very useful apps. Should their absence be understood as a lack of commitment? There's an explanation out there, but I am not sure if this story is to believed: http://www.cultofmac.com/421893/why-the-ipad-has-never-shipped-with-a-calculator-app/

Apple's Ive and Newson unveil unadorned fir trees for Claridge's Christmas installation
It is pretty much in line with the Apple store concept: living indoor trees creating an awesome zen like atmosphere. The logs underneath the trees are a nice touch because Xmas is about gatherings, not so much about superficial decorations. The fake snow covering the logs are a bit unfortunate though, unless they are seating pads? I can't tell from the pictures.

Colbert's 'Late Show' skewers cost, content of Apple's new design book
blastdoor said:That book is like a giant "kick me" sign on Apple's back.
The fact that Apple put the sign there themselves means they deserve every kick they get.
I for one do not understand the hate. Is it because people fear Apple becoming complacent? Having said that, what they've achieved is quite remarkable. If not for Apple, we'd still have to deal with mediocrity. Apple is the new Bauhaus. A book is a fitting tribute. Or dare I say closure? Here's to the next 20 years.
