Twitter loses half its ad revenue, still weighed down by debt
So Twitter was the preeminent microblogging platform, doing well enough to have shareholders getting earnings.
Musk buys it and starts pulling every lever he can find, many of which were clearly marked DO NOT TOUCH THIS LEVER.
Now the company is bleeding value, invisible to the public, and got its lunch eaten by Meta in less than a week of competition.
Oh, and a new half-billion liability based on Lever #2.Remind me how this reflects on the legendary genius of Musk? -

Revamped 'Myst Mobile' lands on iPad, iPhone
I managed to get the app on my iPhone SE2 and then got it on the mini5 through purchased apps... weird.
Great handle! BTW I still have a rig that runs Hypercard! And all my Expanded Books! I was using RunRev until they started charging for hobbyists.
I had a short-lived side gig coding tools in HC which I christened "Pancake Technologies: We Know How To Stack'em!"
Also worked on IIGS development as an Apple ATG External Research site. If you ever doubted the value of Apple dev tools, HyperCard GS was a 4 hour port from the Mac version.
Cheers!
hcrefugee said:Yes indeed! As a former HyperCard "developer" I recall how the arrival of Myst fueled hopes on HC forums that Apple would continue development of HC 3.0 with much needed new features. Alas, between the advent of the WWW, the return of Steve Jobs to Apple, and development of OS X, HC 3.0 was simply not to be. Many HC folks eventually moved on to Objective-C, myself included, thus my username: hcrefugee.
