China steals loads of IP from everyone, including Apple, and seems to get away with it, through various means. That is the elephant in the room that most politicians don’t address or are too ignorant to even grasp the magnitude of the ramifications.

So much for this ridiculous circus about an actor (Smith) who really isn’t that great. But what if Chris Rock had fallen to the ground from the slap? Moaned in agony on live TV? Or bled? Bet that would change a lot of opinions. That Rock stood the whole time and smiled in amazement made it seem less than it was?

This is a good question! Thread support doesn't imply support for Matter. But as Thread is the current preferred connectivity method for Matter devices, it is often conflated. That said, Eve has promised their whole lineup will support Matter, so yes -- in this case I'd say this will support Matter.
