Apple has a clear path to $1T in revenue by 2030
Come on guys, on what basis? Being too successful in terms of running the business astutely and thus having high margins/profits?
Globally Apple’s products are not dominant in terms of market share. They have plenty of room to grow while the Android and PC/Windows junk will still grab the majority purely due to low price points.
As for Home Automation aka HomeKit they need to focus more attention. Including routers, as that is the weak link in security since they exited.

Peloton appoints new CEO, announces layoffs of 2,800 employees

There are successful EV startups that have fewer employees than that. This is just a dumb bike with some app and personal trainers, not exactly rocket science.
Even if the article means to say 2800 remain that’s still a ton of overhead, for what??Xed said:cg27 said:flydog said:cg27 said:So prior to the cuts Peleton has over 10,000 employees? 'Apple Car' needs Machine Learning to make driving decisions fast enough

On a more positive note, I read an article about an Israeli company who has contracted to build a one mile stretch of highway in Michigan with charging coils embedded in the pavement to allow wireless charging of EVs while they drive over the road. Of course the EVs will also be equipped with coils as well. If this turns out to be a practical solution to the range issue of EVs it will change everything.
