Still waiting for Apple to make home automation magical, as in plug and play with no third party bridges, subscriptions, apps needed, just the hardware (namely security cams).  Eve seems to be the only company that may fulfill this.  But they too could pull a bait and switch at some point.

And yes, truly wish Apple would get back into wireless routers but have to wonder if they’re just banking on 5G instead.

Precisely, couldn’t agree more.  I’ve been very patiently waiting for several years for the HK ecosystem to provide ample options that do not rely on 3rd party bridges, apps, servers, subscriptions, etc.  I simply want/expect to plug and play, and control everything through the HK app.  And I’m mostly talking security, not colorful lights.

Tim should have his home fully HomeKit enabled, right?  Even with prototype gear since the HomeKit ecosystem is sorely lacking options that are fully capable and compliant.

This will be the next best thing after Ford’s keypad entry which they’ve offered for decades on all models.

Seems that larger radius fold could be used to store an Apple Pencil Mini.

And when the Pencil is docked it could actually help spread out forces evenly when the phone is folded and squeezed shut, say in one’s tight jean back pocket, to further reduce the risk of creasing.
