  • iPhone screen supplier Japan Display seeking loans for shift to OLED

Analysts suggest that Apple's future use of OLED technology will drive the technology's adoption forward in an otherwise stagnant market.

Adoption of the technology has been accelerating and expanding for several years.  Apple are running after this bus hoping to jump on as a passenger.  Samsung is driving it.  The OLED market is far from stagnant, hence the entire point of this article.

  • Bluetooth streaming problems introduced in Apple's iOS 9.2 remain, have wide ramifications

Headphone jack removal apologists, take note. Wireless not always as great as it sounds.
Pretty sure you can still used wired headphones even without the headphone jack. So missing your point? It's called lightning connected (not wireless) headphones
Not without a diminishing of your user experience and bank account.  'Shouldn't have to' beats 'can', every time.

  • Apple's 'iPhone 7 Plus' predicted to face supply constraints due to new dual-lens camera

Did a little research. Here's my findings related to the advantages of a dual-lens setup:

First, a dual-lens setup could feature two lenses with two different focal lengths. One lens is wide-angle, while the other could be 3x zoom. This means you can switch lenses to magnify more distant subjects without resorting to digital zoom. The setup could also deliver smooth zooms, for example during video recording, by employing a mix of digital zoom and lens-switching.

The second benefit to using two parallel lenses, each with its own sensor, is improved low-light performance. Software works in real-time to match each pixel from one lens with the corresponding pixel from the other lens, and it uses scene analysis to detect which pixel is likely to be closer to the truth. As a result, noise is reduced and we end up with a cleaner picture.

The third and final advantage is having two lenses enables a degree of depth analysis. Depth analysis allows for extra control over images, such automatically blurring out of backgrounds in portrait shots, quicker autofocus and augmented reality.
Two lenses with different focal lengths are not going to allow you to compare pixels to reduce noise because each pixel will be lit by an entirely different part of the scene - the images won't correspond.

As for a dual lens camera delivering DSLR rivaling image quality - bunkum.

  • Apple might launch wireless earbuds with power saving Bluetooth chip in September

...is there a health concern going beyond merely sticking a radiating device next to the head, in actually inserting a radiating device into the head...? If nixing the conventional port facilitates a truly waterproof iPhone is that perhaps worth the trade off...?
Bluetooth headphones receive, mostly, they don't transmit unless you press one of the buttons, so would only transmit at very low levels only rarely and very briefly.

Bluetooth devices transmit over a few meters.  If you talk on your phone you are transmitting several kilometers.  Which do you think would be the safer one to have close to your head?

  • Supply chain sources again point to Apple's 'iPhone 7 Plus' having 3GB of RAM

When they came out with Lightning on the iPhone 5, my (not so bright) friend immediately exclaimed, "See, that's how they get you!" To which I pointed at his iPhone and said, "No, that's how they get you. Do you like your iPhone?" "Yeah." "Do you want them to keep making it better?" "Yeah."
No one has given a compelling reason for why losing the headphone jack is better. The best one has come up with is making the phone more water resistant but that's already happening with the headphone jack still there.
I love that 'so they can make it waterproof' argument.  It looks like Samsung have added a torpedo tube to the Note 7.
