Flying ON your property? That wouldn't be flying then would it?

Based on sales/profits?  Sales/profits are SHARPLY down this quarter. And will sharply down AGAIN next quarter.

You should look for more of a trend over a few years.
iPhone 6 plus was an anomaly. 3 years of pent up demand. Nobody could have bested that.
Compared to 2014 profit and sales are much higher.

-isn't that what you were saying yesterday?

  • A look inside Apple ahead of its Q2 2016 earnings report

Smartphones have peaked and Apple has virtually all its profits come from phones.
Yep, shut it down and sell the pieces. Having virtually all your profits from one thing means you are going to go out of business. Especially if that one thing has "peaked" and will only go down from here.

RIP Google whose only revenue is from advertising which has peaked.
RIP Facebook. Same thing. Advertising is going down.
RIP Amazon. Retail is sooo 1990's.
RIP Microsoft. PC sales are down the toilet.
Tesla? Only a matter of time before we hit peak electric vehicles. Sell, sell, sell!

And nobody really wants a smart phone these days right? Back to the flip phone days from here on out forever - no one will ever buy another smartphone. Too bad Apple relies on iPhone for 62% of it's world-leading, record-breaking profit. They would just be one of the biggest companies out there instead of the biggest by far.

You know, (or maybe you don't) any other company in the world would kill to have that hoard of cash overseas "collecting dust".

  • Motor Trend spotlights 'Apple Car' development in June cover story

Also, swarms (fleets) dedicated to specific dense population centers would imply that Apple could concentrate its mapping initiatives to just those areas where it intends to roll out its self-driving service, and that means they could do a very good job mapping each area, which would assist the cars' self-driving systems and help to optimize routing of the cars, making the whole fleet more efficient and maximizing utilization.

And the cars could map while they are driving about, getting better and better, almost real-time maps so that Apple cars wouldn't confuse a sandbag in the gutter as an obstacle and crash -http://www.engadget.com/2016/02/29/google-self-driving-car-accident/
