The DMA is a bunch of BS. Apple should send a message to every customer they know about in the EU explaining the situation, stating that they will stop doing business in the EU, and follow through with that if the DMA isn't repealed. It's in their long-term interest, as compliance will mean giving up their competitive advantage and that will kill any company after a while.
Yeah, I’m sure you enjoy that fantasy world you live in, but here on Earth that’s never going to happen.
How do you figure tho?  If the EU keeps slapping the major tech companies with $40 Billion+ in eventual fines PER YEAR, it's like in the END, Apple is going to have to say were not paying goodbye, or lose all profits to the EU and make no money?  They're already hampering so many tech companies.

The EU regulators just want to sit up in their high chairs and dictate tech policy, but not actually do the WORK to enforce the policies, and it's the US tech companies duty?!?  That's nuts...

Right now the EU looks at how much profits a tech company has and just decide to take a %%% cut.  I mean in the old days fines were like "OK $5 million fine."  Now it's like how much profit do they have?  We're taking 25%!  That's extortion!

This is the most disgusting abuse of power without even having to have VOTING in place, it's just their Government dictates to US Companies and they must abide.  It's not even a tariff, it's BEEEEYOOOND!

    Get a clue, they're TYRANNICAL!!

Maybe people are getting pissed off with your prices eh? Your actions on the market then drive up the prices of other smartphone manufacturers cos then they get greedy too. I remember buying my first iPhone 3GS for £299 or £349 back in 2009 or so. Now the same equivalent for me in a Pro Max model is circa £1400. That’s greed too, not inflation.

Now you’ve also increased your  One subscription prices globally. Third time in 2-3 years too if you’re outside of the US.  TV is useless, you’ve to pay for most of the non  stuff.  Fitness+ bugs the life out of me cos they’re all on Prozac or something with those fake smiles. iCloud is rubbish compared to Googles offering but I need it. Not much use for Arcade either.

Start listening to what your audience wants and will endure instead of telling them what they want or you’ll end up like Nokia.
25 years ago, my mother purchased an iMac G3 (1998), for $1,299
Today you can get an iMac M3 (2023), for $1,299

Today's iMac M3 is easily 1000x faster than that iMac G3, and these are strictly base models.

You need to get out of your rudimentary thinking of "Spread the Wealth" philosophy and learn to live with Apple's "Spread the Power" philosophy...

    You sound lost.

  • Apple on iPhone 15 Pro: 'The best game console is the one you have with you'

"we hope Apple may finally begin to take seriously." – author

Really?  "Finally" and "Begin"?  This culmination is well over 5 years in the making...
They didn't just begin, dude, gees...  To me the whole strategy of Apple's seems they have been lurking around the back, and are about to spring inside and go nuts on people!
