Apple Card is 'bright spot' in credit cards, says J.D. Power rankings
My only complaint with the card is that Goldman Sachs won’t take electronic payments from my bank’s bill paying service. So the bank mails a physical check and that takes about a business week before it gets there and is posted.
Even that was a hassle, prying an address out of Goldman Sachs customer service but I finally got it.

FBI again asks Apple to unlock iPhones belonging to suspected shooter
Maybe the FBI should develop and robustly fund a hacker division dedicated to breaking into iPhones. And if unsuccessful, maybe they'll finally believe Cook. Then their alternative is to pursue legislative solutions. I want to see which congressmen (on the record) are in favor of forcing companies employing encryption in their devices to intentionally build in a backdoor knowing full well it will be broken or given up by a rogue employee with a better offer. -
Apple spent 'billions' on revamped Maps service
fastasleep said:felix01 said:I'm still not using Apple Maps. Three questions for you folks who are. Positive answers might convince me to start giving Apple Maps a serious look:
1. Does Apple Maps show the posted speed limits (I know temporary work areas won't be correct) along the computed route? And how about if you're just using it to track progress along roads but not a computed route? Speed limits there too?
2. Are computed arrival times more accurate than on earlier versions? I guess what I'm asking here is whether Apple is tracking the average traffic speeds along major roads and using that dynamic info to continually recalculate arrival times.
3. Are alternate routes provided around crashes and/or work zones (or just general traffic congestion)? Kind of like Waze does.
2. Yes. Improved all the time.
3. I don't think it has realtime feedback at this point, but I could be wrong.
