Smart move. Actions have consequences. Though I suspect the Britons will not rise up in outrage. They tolerate a much lower bar for privacy than Americans—camera tracking in the public space in the UK is second only to China. British cop shows often feature sequences where folks are tracked continuously on monitors using a combination of CCTV and cell phone signals. 

Think Different?

Tried to access on my existing Research app and after asking if I want to transfer my existing data to this phone, it tries and fails to do it repeatedly. Then asks if I want to start over as a new participant and lose my old data. Either it’s too soon to enroll, or since old studies are over that starting fresh is the correct thing to do. Anyone?

As long as it’s only e-maps, who cares, be done with a virtual keystroke and undone in four years. I feel for the makers of paper maps who have to correct and reprint, then do the same thing again later. On the brighter side, maybe these weird maps will become collectors items in decades to come, like misprinted currency. Idiot’s delight.
