Apple scrutinized for 'Find My' restrictions placed on third-party developers
Apple should update its AppStore policies to prevent developers from asking for users mobile phone number as precondition to providing services.
Apple blocked access to all sort of device information, cookies, etc., invented “sign in with Apple” etc. to thwart user tracking, but now an increasing number of apps ask for the users phone number “for account security” which then is the most personally identifiable piece of information by which users can be tracked.
But Apple so far does not forbid this practice, rendering in effect all their prior efforts useless. -
Antitrust hearing with Tim Cook, other tech CEOs officially delayed
The whole thing is populist attempt at vote buying.
All of these companies have monopolistic tendencies, but for each they manifest themselves VERY differently, and for each totally different measures would be appropriate.
Apple is the least worrisome of the bunch, but even with Apple, there are things legislation should be made to stop certain practices, or allow alternatives such as to wrestle away from Apple complete control over what owners can do with the devices they own. -

Repair shop loses legal battle with Apple over 'counterfeit' iPhone screen import
BS ruling. Any non-authorized repair voids warranty anyway, but last I checked, we own the devices and don’t rent them from Apple.
Also, there is Apple pretending to be a “green” company, and then takes action against refurbished repair parts, while squashing a small shop with an onslaught of lawyers.
Given that the guy won in the first go around, it’s likely fair to say, that Apple’s high-priced lawyers out argued whatever small lawyer the guy could afford; had he had the funds to use some legal top guns, chances are, he would have prevailed.
