I feel like both the Slim and the Fold are niche gimmicks. Unless they’re actually the same phone so that when it’s folded it’s still the same thickness as a normal iPhone. That could be a good solution for fitting a large screen in your pocket. Otherwise I don’t see that either really gives any major benefit. 

it might tempt me if it had built-in FaceTime and HomePod equivalent speakers.

I actually love that they did this comparison. Obviously it can be a marketing tactic, but most people aren’t upgrading from M3 to M4. I’m upgrading from M1 to M4 Mini as soon as that’s announced, so M1 vs M4 is exactly what I want to know. My guess is that they expect a lot of upgrades like me this cycle. 

I’d love to see a good spinoff as long as it’s more in line with the first two seasons. Season three was so frustrating. “Sunflowers” was one of the series’ best episodes but for the rest of the season almost every character arc just fell apart and came to an utterly disappointing conclusion. 

Apple has some great shows, they’ve just struggled to find big attention grabbers that stand out in the flood of content. They’re still my first go-to for content thanks to series like For All Mankind and Ted Lasso, but they probably would do well to get hold of a major book or game franchise that’s already well established just to get people to take notice.
