These lawsuits like many others would never be filed, if the the plaintiffs had to pay damages if they lose. It would make these silly patent trolls think twice about how good their case really is, and if they win, the outcome is the same, someone pays them, but if they lose, they lose big time perhaps for all those legal fees..

Just a pile of stupid politicians posturing again for something they are totally clueless about.   If the people who literally "tripped" over this bug, would have just been patient, everyone these days thinks that things happen instantly and they don't, Apple would have fixed it and it would not have been a big thing, and it really wasn't you had to intentionally add yourself to a multiple person FaceTime conversation, of which you were already in to do this, who does that?? ever....

how do they know? Its just a guess.. and useless... why does anyone listen or publish this? they might get closer tossing darts at board with sales number guesses on it.

Since Apple no longer provides sales stats, these "guesses" by this company (and others like it) IMHO are worthless.  Which makes posting the article just as worthless.,  These people are wrong more than they are right and it is not news or newsworthy..

How many hundreds of companies use bluetooth in their devices and only Apple and Samsung get sued for a now expired patent, it should be obvious to the blind that these people are trying to get a payday off of someone else's work.
