  • Apple's latest ad uses human 'flood' to sell iPhone XR colors

If Apple has decided to quit the numbers game, how are you going to know what the final numbers are?
The numbers game to which I refer is publishing unit sales of devices, which they never did with the Apple Watch and now are not doing it with any iPhones or other products now if I recall correctly..

  • Apple's latest ad uses human 'flood' to sell iPhone XR colors

I find it odd that we try and always anticipate how things at Apple are going in advance of reality.  Always assuming the worst, such as XR is the best selling iPhone, but may not sell as many as expected because some dimwit analyst thats wrong more than right, says so.  And now that Apple has wisely decided to stop the number games, which no one else ever played, these analysts are going be guessing even more than before..   lets see what the final numbers really are before deciding whether Apple has problems.

  • Deputy AG Rosenstein says companies like Apple are trying to 'defeat legitimate law enforc...

Whitacker was appointed AG after Sessions stepped down. Rosenstein is a moron,  like way to many in government and law enforcement your personal privacy means nothing if they think they can win a case or arrest you for something, because of something they "find" in your car, your house, or your smartphone, computer if you let them, which in most cases, unless they have a warrant, they can't look or touch....     Which leads to the next problem is way to many people are clueless, and that is the real problem.

  • Apple ships watchOS 5.1.1 update without Apple Watch bricking bug

I love the "unexpectedly" in the article, what is to be unexpected?  Apple releases 5.1,  it has an unfortunate issue, and they pull it, they are going to release a fixed version eventually, and it would be highly unlikely that they would use the same version #..  Thus 5.1.1...   So unless I see more reports of watches dying in the next 24 hours, I'll upgrade tomorrow..

  • Zero-day vulnerability in macOS Mojave bypasses system-level privacy permissions

While I want the OS to be secure, it always seems odd that they wait, until the day its released to reveal a security flaw..   What's wrong with actually showing Apple the issue long before the release, did it pop up only in the GM? Seems unlikely, since its only been available  a few days at most.  And yet while its an issue, someone would actually have to install some app that would have the flaw in it, and what are the chances of that..  about the same as the flaw.. Zero...
