    I’m curious if other people feel the same way. Elon would never admit it if it were true, and I don’t know how much market research Tesla does. Anecdotal, but a friend of mine in LA just canceled a $140k Model X order and ordered a Rivian because he just can’t stand the Musk any longer.

  • Apple Siri Remote now USB-C, as death knell tolls for Lightning

    Looks like apple might be eating crow on this after all, after saying lightening was the last iPhone port. They’re in a damned if you do damned if you don’t situation right now; usb-c makes sense, especially with government regulation overreach, but I remember people were completely freaking out when they switched to the lightening port, to a strange degree. 

    I’m looking forward to the day when we get a slimmer, sleeker phone that’s fully wireless. 
    Apple never said this. Go back and rewatch the keynote where they introduced it. They said Lightning was the connector for the next decade. It’s been a decade since it was released. Sounds to me like it’s being replaced right on schedule.

    i don't think anyone with decent amount of technology knowledge would argue against the fact that iPhone 14 Pro Max has the BEST display in ANY smartphone for now (until the next iPhone comes up). Samsung will definitely try to equal/better the iPhone 14 pro max display in S23 Ultra early next year but that has to wait at least for 6 months. For the first time in last decade, Samsung has ceded the display leadership to Apple while they were either equal or better in prior years (S & Note series).
    Samsung would already be doing this though. You think they saw this and we like “oh shit DisplayMate said Apple’s display is perfect, we need to start putting the good displays in now”?

    Which outcome is that? Having the worlds 5th largest economy? Producing 2/3rds of all fruits, vegetables, and nuts in the US? Or maybe producing a state budget surplus so large every resident is getting a refund check from the state?

    Apple Music was always available for Android. Don’t forget that Apple Music evolved from Beats’ streaming service, which Apple acquired along with the hardware division.
