I understand and appreciate all of the arguments here.  Nothing is ever completely black and white either....SO many shades of grey!

Having said all that....and with my own opinions on all aspects of this topic....what keeps leaping out at me is how can you call a company a monopoly when it owns much less than 50% of the market??????

Bitmod, you are blatantly wrong about speaker quality on the X vs 6!  The X speakers have superior sound, higher volume, and are stereo!  I can’t imagine how you could think otherwise...this is simply FACT, confirmed by Apple and every other user out there.

That may or make sense for Netflix...

But how does it make sense for Apple to allow any app on it’s store for free?

There are hard costs associated with running their servers.  I must be missing something...

I wasn’t convinced I wanted a bigger phone than my 5s...the 7 changed my mind in an hour.  Then the X changed my mind further in another hour.  The Xs Max...man it seemed big at first, it actually took me a day!  No turning back now though...words cannot describe how much I love this phone!!!

I WAY care about speaker quality!  I watch tons of YouTube (and other) videos, along with listening to lots of podcasts.  The speakers in the iPhone X sound FANTASTIC at moderate to low volume levels...plus get loud enough to listen to a podcast with the phone in my pocket.

Until the new Samsung S9/S9+ phones came out, if I was looking to purchase an Android phone the lack of stereo speakers would have been a dealbreaker for me.
