  • Apple admits third-party App Stores in Europe are inevitable

So people complaining about Apple's "take" of 30% - I can tell you it isn't the vast majority of App Developers complaining. What Apple does for their 30% is HUGE.
Simply managing the banking details, depositing proceeds of any sales,  and helping devs to comply with all the weird laws of each region/country is worth the cost. For example, the EU GDPR compliance.

So how you you think these alternative app stores are going to make money? They will not do it out of the goodness of their hearts. They will take some kind of commission. 10%? 15% ? Apple's scanning for malware is not perfect, but it will be a damn site better than some hokey third party App Store.

  • Apple Car expected to arrive sometime before 2030

Probably good to wait. The "heat" has gone out of the EV market. Many of the "early" adopters have bought one. Now the rest are saying, why would I pay more to put up with range anxiety and a crappy charging network that still can't charge a vehicle in anything close to the time to "gas" an ICE vehicle. A lot of EV's are sitting on lots.

  • Apple releases iOS 17.0.3 & iPadOS 17.0.3 with overheating fixes

If you think your phone is "overheating" just go the battery monitor in settings and see what  app is using battery. The ONLY way a phone can "overheat" is if an app is converting "energy" into "heat" ? Your phone doesn't magically make heat out of nothing as apparently some people think.

  • China government iPhone ban will have almost no effect on sales, says analyst

Be aware that the Chinese government has a very robust propaganda/disinformation branch with many ready followers who post regularly to push the interests of China.

  • Child safety advocacy group launches campaign against Apple

The “human trafficking” umbrella has become a fig leaf used by right wing groups to cover their efforts to smear liberals. Who doesn’t want to protect kids, right? The child prostitution ring in the D.C. pizza parlor lunacy sprung from this initiative. If you protest their methods they claim you are protecting pedophiles or worse. Look very carefully at who is funding these groups and initiatives and what other beliefs they espouse.
That's actually very on point. The current hysteria about "human trafficking" is really a cover for attacking prostitution. You might argue that the "worlds oldest profession" is somehow undesirable, but call this campaign against "human trafficking" for what really is.
