Apple ordered to pay VirnetX $503M for infringing patents
Jurors drawn from a small pool of people in one Texas county and that typically decide cases in favor of the patent trolls? Doesn't anyone find that a little odd? Seems like a blatant abuse of the justice system.

Apple One services bundles are now available
We have 3 people in our “family” and two of us were buying our own 200GB plans as the 2TB plan was too much. Plus we use Apple Music, TV+ and News+ (which is highly underrated, it saves me a lot in magazine subscriptions). All in all $30 per month in one subscription is a money saver.

This “right to repair” issue is a made up issue pushed by a vocal minority of users. Does any really expect something as sophisticated as a modern iPhone to be repairable by some nerd with a soldering iron? That ship has sailed.

Apple has pretty clear rules. You can’t have an app in the App Store that provides a service, then be selling a premium version of that service via an external web site. You have to do in a via an in app purchase. It’s pretty freaking clear. If these clowns can get away with it then every developer could do the same.

And that 30% is worth every cent. As an app developer , I do not begrudge Apple their 30% in any way, shape or form. The infrastructure, reporting, 'distribution' etc are worth every penny multiple times over.
