When?  When can we order and when does it ship?   Article would be much improved if it answered those kinda basic questions - even if it said “not yet available to order, and no shipping date yet from the company”.

Spot on. The marketing list available is ‘Apple AND Pandora users’ not ‘Apple or Pandora users’. Looks like Pandora have been harvesting data to make a buck. And if that’s the case, bye bye Pandora. 

how? Reall, how?  How can WhatsApp install a program?  That’s a breach of the App Store rules. Fine they’ve patched it - but this sounds like a feature the developers wrote so they could add a ‘WhatsApp downloadable featurss’ type thing in future and didn’t disable it.  Apple needs to be able to do a better job of finding apps that break the rules like this and apply some decent penealties when they are found out.

Different Wifi, or cell.  Always the same result. If I reboot it usually works first time. 5 minutes later: hold on...

If Apple really wanted to build a flagship store in Melbourne, they should have proposed building it in Sydney.  Melbourne pollies clear all manner of legal obsticles and throw cash at anything just to move it from Sydney to Melbourne.
