Illinois judge dismisses Apple's challenge to Chicago 'Netflix Tax'

They need to wake up and realize that people aren't beholden to big city life for work anymore. As more and more corporations adopt and keep permanent work from home workforces the city will see all their cash cows dry up really really quick. Looking forward to the day when Chicago becomes an abandoned desert town.
The "Sweetened Beverage Tax" was 1cent per ounce. So that 99cent 64oz slurpee was hit was a 64% tax! -

Apple claps back at UK report it claims would force it to 'redesign the iPhone'
I don’t understand how allowing external app stores would impact Apple’s secure image. Simply don’t install the external App Store (simple default switch that prevents external app stores from being installed), users will remain secure. The only logical reason Apple is against this is the loss of income from said external app stores. -
Compared: Apple Studio Display vs LG UltraFine 5K Display
omasou said:I have two LG UltraFine 5K monitors so I can afford to wait for the second generation Studio Display. Hopefully, they’ll have 4 Thunderbolt 4 ports then.
One point of note. The LG UltraFine 5K supports TrueTone but isn’t very useful if like me you use a MacBook Pro and keep the computer close and therefore the sensor in the dark. Since the new monitors have the A13, wondering if TrueTone sensor is on the monitor?
I’d grab a single 32” if that was available at $2k.
