Possibly needs a slight redesign, existing photos are not exactly the same as the product they could ship. so we may still see it, but with a slightly bigger format. I don’t see them completely abandoning this, but they may leave it to other players since there seem to be so many already.

Just hope they come out with a Mac mini update before this shift, I want a good Mac running current software in my living room attached to my TV. Waiting to long for it already. Almost 4 years no update. Apple is losing money because of this. If I bought 2 years ago. I probably would be in the market for a new MacBook Pro now. Nice that my 2010 MacBook still gets the latest OS though

What is more concerning is the lack of availability from Apple for replacement batteries,  I have an otherwise perfectly usable MacBook Pro from 2010,  but for the past 2 years it has had a bulged battery.  The bulged battery makes it so the trackpad no longer works, and some safety concerns.  Brought it into an Apple store 2 years ago to get a replacement but was told they no longer carried replacements for that model.  That is planned obsolescence to me. especially considering 8 years later I still can’t buy a MacBook with the equivalent 2TB hard drive.  Funny thing is that model still upgrades to the current high sierra OS.
