This brings back nice memories when I often was surprised about which model was the most successful for the 4 and 5. I think a lot of people have heard that the jet black is a fingerprint magnet and scratches more easily so even if it might look better to them they prefer the black one. I am very careful with my phones so I would definitely pick the jet black one, I thought this appearance would appear next year.

Better yet, what's the advantage of Lighting over USB-C anyway? Aren't they pretty much at feature/speed parity?

The lightning connector is superior because it's just like a single piece of metal, no small parts inside. 

If they wanted to end it they simply had to wait a few hours last time to know what Justice would decide on the matter.
