  • Smooth switching between AR and VR could be big Apple headset feature, says Kuo

Pretty sure the system won’t look like these concepts, which would make someone look like a dork.
Instead, I think they will be shorter in vertical size, to make them look like glasses.
Also that strap makes no sense, as the two parts of the bands would constantly separate at the back of the head.

  • Apple's 2023 CarPlay is an Apple Car preview - and is scaring Detroit

Has anyone yet considered the possibility that this new CarPlay IS the "apple car" project?

Remember when everyone thought the “Apple TV” was going to be a physical TV? Turns out to have been the important bits of the TV; Apple left the low margin stuff to the manufacturers while also offering a desirable addition that improved the experience for the user and that the manufacturers  wanted / needed to remain competitive.

    Same play here.

Because a TV doesn’t offer much margin for hardware innovation. A car does.

Why build a car when any car can be "your" car?
Any rental car/autonomous vehicle would automagically customize to your preferences. The paradigm of 'owning' a car will change to use case rental for many if not most people.
You don’t seem familiar with how Apple works, get serious.

Thousands of Apple employees didn’t work for 9 years just for this.

  • Future Apple Watch could have a camera in the Digital Crown

I am confused by the way the author absolutely wants to make the idea on a watch look bad. “Not a stalker but a spy”… doesn’t that apply to any camera? I think that if Apple introduces a camera on the watch they should barely talk about privacy (while actually adding protection features) because experience with AirTags has shown that the more they do, the more people like the author (who seem to have forgotten that Apple didn’t invent trackers and that AirTags offer better anti stalking protection than any other company selling trackers) complain.
