  • Apple's incoming 6.5-inch iPhone will offer Plus-style landscape modes

It shouldn't be up to Apple to decide if we want landscape mode. It should be a user preference.

    make the company seem fruity

You were doing a pretty good job up until this point of hiding your political leanings, but "fruity" is a major tell-tale sign that you're anti-gay. Here's the thing; Tim Cook is gay and was outed. He *had* to admit it and from that point forward he had little choice but to be an LGBTQ leader or he would have taken flack for abdicating his responsibility.

  • Apple Maps mislabeling locations in rural Canada

I made the mistake of trying to use Apple Maps to find national parks in Panama last year. Maps would guide me to the edge of the park and just dump me there in the middle of nowhere instead of taking me to an actual *entrance* to the park. I was left numerous times having to navigate by the seat of my pants even though I had a "smart" phone with me.

I understand maps is not a simple problem to solve. But Apple is a big company with lots of resources. They need to decide if they're going to fix this or not; leaving it half-assed is not good.

    The lawsuit has no merit.

I like how you're conveniently ignoring the part of the article which noted that once China started looking into the situation, the 3 companies' behavior "changed abruptly". That smells very heavily of "merit".

  • Apple sued for $15,000 over injuries sustained in Apple Store evacuation drill

Why the fuck would people trample each other, fall down, and injure themselves during a fucking drill?
Because they weren't told it was a drill. Further, people who did know it was a drill purposely misled/deceived the unknowing customers into thinking it was a real situation. That is why Apple is liable; because they knowingly created a chaotic situation in which customers were injured. This really isn't very complicated, folks.
