  • Uber paid $100,000 to cover up 2016 breach exposing data of 57 million customers and drive...

So you’re really saying you are a communist!  In a real capitalist market as we are already over regulated to hell
Do you have any supporting evidence that we are "over regulated to hell"?

The Net Neutrality crisis pretty much obliterates your argument, BTW. Getting rid of the FCC regulations is what's going to consign us to hell.

  • 6.5-inch iPhone X, 6.1-inch LCD iPhone in the works for late 2018 launch

Since I wear jeans and I don’t carry a hand bag, I hope they will keep making iPhone 5 sized phones.
Agree. I want smaller not bigger, so it's dismaying they're not releasing a 5.8" LCD model. That's the size I want, just not with the OLED burn-in, battery usage, and price. (I also don't care about FaceID but apparently that's gonna be there no matter what.)

  • iPhone X impresses Windows executive, Android fans but bitter bloggers still hating

This may be a bit unpopular, but I need to say Diaz has some points. When he says "battery life that lasts for more than a few hours of usage, materials that are truly durable" both are on target. iPhone X's front & back glass is apparently easily damaged by dropping it, and it costs and arm and a leg to get such damage repaired. X also doesn't have any better battery life (unless you play color inversion tricks as AI disclosed) than previous models.

We should not fall over ourselves to claim a critic has no points just because he's shown bias in the past. Yes, he (for some reason) has many axes to grind, but ignore his critiques at your own peril, Apple. The rest of us want durable, long-lasting iPhones too.

  • Leaked doc shows what is & isn't covered in Apple's iPhone warranty repairs

Leakers of private corporate information should be prosecuted into poverty.
"Into poverty"?? What a vindictive, punitive culture we've become. Seeing these guidelines make me *more* happy with Apple. Until now it seemed like the Geniuses pulled some of their device-repair decisions out of their butts. Now that I can see the guidelines in writing, I can know what to expect before I take my device into the Apple Store. This should help Apple customer relations, not hurt it. If you think this helps Apple's competitors somehow, you're nuts. First, they very likely already have a copy of them. Second, it's not that hard to come up with these; the competitors already have them for every device they've ever sold.
