  • Chinese state-run media promises consequences for Apple, others if Trump starts trade war

lol. Everyone needs to just relax with this stuff.

Can't remember who said it but "The media takes Trump literally but not seriously. His voters take him seriously but not literally."

Just let the guy try and get better deals for the country. If he fails, he'll be out. If he wins even some minor concessions, it could be good for everyone.

The media hysteria over Trump stuff is just insane.
Are you as ignorant as you sound? The damage about to be perpetrated by this clown and the idiots surrounding him will go far beyond trade. One just needs to look at what they've been doing since the election - like the complete buffoon he
put in charge of environmental issues and evaluating the EPA. He was elected out of ignorance - mostly clueless individuals to the real issues and the world around us.  If people want real change they should start by getting a good education, by actually studying the real issues and gaining a better understanding of the world we live in.

Wow. Corruption is the norm for Sammy.
Note that there is no evidence of this as of yet, how do you come to the conclusion that corruption the norm based on this article?
Wake T-F-U - this corrupt company has an ongoing history of corruption in every corner of the world,  all the way up to its chairman who was pardoned by the then president of South Korea. In 2008, because of whistle-blowing by Kim Yong-chul, a former legal counsel of Samsung, South Korea’s largest conglomerate, investigators uncovered 4.5 trillion won ($4 billion) that its chairman, Lee Kun-hee, kept hidden under his aides’ names, and convicted him of tax evasion. Samsung vilified Mr. Kim as an untrustworthy former employee. This company has been convicted of price fixing and intellectual property theft around the world, along with other corrupt practices.

  • Amazon launches Music Unlimited to challenge Spotify & Apple Music

And so Amazon continues to drive every aspect of our lives into commodity status driving profits out of 10's of thousands of businesses and industries. This is not being done in the name of improved market efficiencies, but through predatory practices to drive marketshare and eliminate competition.

    SamsungInsider...
In my neck of the woods you see people using either iPhones or Samsung phones and little else. So that makes Samsung news kinds interesting to read in my opinion.
Not on an Apple centric site it doesn't. A site like ArsTechnica yes, because its not specific to one brand. APPLEInsider, no. Has nothing to do with Apple specifically.

Didn't AppleInsider used to have something call like AppleInside Backpage? This would be a perfect place for things like this.
Beep! Wrong answer macxpress! You lose a turn. This has everything to do with Apple - Samsung is a major  component supplier to Apple, if not still the largest, and therefore quality issues are of concern. Secondly, Samsung is Apple's largest iPhone competitor and is therefore of major interest to those of us that follow Apple's business, not just their products.
