  • AMC launches tvOS app with free streaming for select shows

AMC 's policy on streaming is total bullshit however! I get AMC in my cable package but they won't let me stream more than the first episode of Night Manager! I signed up through Verizon FIOS, but they just sold the system to Frontier, and Frontier doesn't show up on the list of participating providers so can't activate the app. FIOS does though and trying to log in there they say sorry, sold to Frontier. Come on guys, get your shit together!

  • Apple's iTunes Movies and iBooks Store shuttered by Chinese state agency, report confirms

This is the one thing I agree with Trump on. We should be slapping heavy tariffs on these suppressive hypocrites until they truly open up their markets, and stop suppressing the internet and content.

  • Rumor: Samsung trying to earn new iPhone supply chain slot with EMI-shielded NAND

"reconciliation"? Simple, put a gun to your head and pull the trigger. Short of that, find a moral compas and grow a conscience, after you pay ALL of the profits to Apple from your infringement.

And don't give us the "there isn't a 720p camera that's thin enough" cop out.  Making excuses for Apple only says "I'm as smart as Apple."  Which isn't very smart at all since neither you nor Apple can fit good tech in a thin chassis.  I say DO A STEVE JOBS.  When stupid engineers tell me it can't be done, I say, DO IT ANYWAY.  Where there's a will, there's a way.  There's always a way.  No excuses for stupid 480p tech.  None.  Zero.  Nada.
But there is an excuse, and its not a technical one. Its called saving money on the components, engineering, and R&D, and driving the margin up.
Amazing that you have over 3,000 posts yet seem to know little about how and why Apple designs products.

  • Apple lauds own encryption efforts, says hackers are primary iPhone threat

If the choice is between engineers working for a fat cat hardware corporation and engineers working for an intrusive federal agency I think I have to ask for another pair of options. It's ok. When Apple was elected to be the All-Knowing Oz in charge of defending our Constitution I didn't get a ballot so I'm not under their jurisdiction.

Please go hang your hat somewhere else until you actually understand the issues as you are obviously clueless and are just polluting this site with nonsensical BS. Thankfully someone out there is trying to protect our individual privacy, and protecting our data from prying eyes.
