Thanks for the words of sanity! It's worth noting that the United States are pondering very similar moves. 

Also, one doesn't need a majority market share to unfairly utilise market clout. Apple is at around 30% on continental Europe; that's not "extremely low" — it just isn't as high as the US or Great Britain. 

The UK please, Northern Ireland might be teetering, but they haven't left us yet.

Yeah, but how is the Apple Store in Belfast doing? And how is Brexit and the hard border affecting transport of Apple products between the Republic and Ulster?

Of course, if Nicola Sturgeon gets her way, Great Britain won't be much of a thing, either*. Which is a pity because UKoGBaNI is much easier to pronounce than UKoEWaNI.

I, too, have no idea what this means. The only thing I can think of was when they removed the glued shut service port that people had started to build business models around using for plug-in watch bands etc despite no indication ever from Apple that the port was even meant to be there. I just don't know what had to be typed in to auto-correct to "tree".

As for the Butterfly Keyboard, my 2016 MBP is still working fine. I never understood the hatred, or experienced the problems. I don't deny others did have problems, or didn't like it, just that I never had any problems.

Almost certainly, the Pro will be at WWDC. At least I know it's nothing I'm going to be able to afford.

Could have the M2 by then, which could have additional interconnects. But even if it's just bigger Ultras, or multiple Ultras., it's going to piss on the competition.
