'iPhone 12' announcement in October, 5G models ship in November claims report
mike1 said:I think this is the first I've heard about separate 4G LTE and 5G variants of the same models. Another whole set of SKUs to worry about.3-4 colors3 storage size options eachAre there still different models depending on the carrier???Different models for different regions worldwideNow double all that because of 5G/No 5G variantsThat's an awful lot of SKUs
If there are separate 5G and LTE models, I expect the Pro will be 5G and the non-Pro (Amateur?) will be LTE only. That might sort out the number of SKUs leaked.
Still, as with everything iPhone, can't count it as fact until Tim is holding it on stage (even if only metaphorically). Although if he isn't holding it on stage by the end of September, I guess we can agree the announcement won't be before October.

Benchmarks for iMac with unreleased Intel processor & Radeon Pro surface
semajnollissor said:Currently, 27” iMacs are listed as unavailable for pick up at my closest Apple store, and the expected delivery date for shipping for the highest end models is more than a month from now.I’m hopeful that the limited availability is because new 27” models are eminent, but I know that it could just be a blip in the supply chain causing the issues.
Still, that kind of delay is very suggestive of a new release, rather than a supply chain glitch. We shall have to wait and see.

And I'm going to be brushing up on my Linux and Windoze support skills, looks like I'm going to need it.Apple just killed Macintosh.
