FTC targets Adobe for deceiving consumers about early termination fees
I miss the days where my credit cards had the option to generate a temporary card number, for a set amount of money, with a user-specified expiration date. I always used them with online purchases as I grew tired of dealing with companies that made it so difficult to cancel something.Somewhere in the annals of Adobe, there were a group of executives discussing how best to trick their customers into signing up for things they did not want. They played the numbers game to bank that x-percentage of people will ignorantly continue to pay. Really scummy for sure. -

Apple Hearing Study rings the alarm on tinnitus
I suffered from tinnitus 24/7 for all my adult years. At times it was unbearable.
A few years ago, I did a sleep study as I had severe sleep apnea. They prescribed me a CPAP machine and not only did my snoring go away, but so did my tinnitus. My lack of sleep all these years and the problems associated with it seemed to be my cause.
