Former Apple buyer sentenced to three years in prison for $17 million fraud conspiracy
Many years ago, a CEO/Owner friend of mine discovered his CFO has embezzled millions from his company. Long story short, the guy went to jail for three years and was ordered to pay back all the stolen money. Money that the thief used basically on lavish trips, properties, cars, etc. He also married a woman that was definitely way beyond his tax bracket.I had lunch with my friend. Back then, he was receiving a random check for $20 every few months, his wife divorced him seconds after the arrest, and the last thing I heard was the thief left the country and disappeared in the Philippines somewhere. The embezzlement almost ruined my friend's company, and he accepted the reality that he will never see any of that money ever again. -

Apple demands that it have no big tech competitors near its Mumbai store
I question how anyone was able to get (and publish) details of the lease agreement between Apple and the property owner. So I question the legitimacy of this "news" story.Assuming it's true, there's a lot of ignorance being displayed here. No one put a gun to the landlord head and forced them to accept Apple's terms of occupancy. Having an Apple store is a great way to increase foot traffic to the entire property so obviously the landlord factored this in to the decision process. The only ones triggered by this are the typical apple-haters and trolls thinking it's only unique to Apple. -
Uze 100W GaN Charger review: A lot of power in a small body
proline said:$100 for a charger with an ancient USB-A port? No thanks. For this kind of money is should be all USB-C. If you want to obsolete tech you don't have $100.
