Usual suspects complain about App Store price hikes outside US

Epic CEO Tim Sweeney added his own comments to the mix. He compared Apple to a landlord adjusting rent without giving tenants any say in the matter or anywhere else to go.
"Developers don't want to raise their app prices in the EU and UK," Sweeney said in a follow up tweet. "Consumers don't want app price increases in the EU and UK. Central banks fighting inflation don't want app price inflation."What a moron.Does your landlord ask for your input before raising your rent?!
ps: that “moron” is a billionaire with an amazing set of companies under his belt. Cut the juvenile behavior please. -

Compared: Parallels Desktop 18 vs VMWare Fusion
JP234 said:It mystifies me as to why anyone would want to run Windows on a Mac, silicon or otherwise. Sure you can do it, but in the words of my late mother, "JP, just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD." Mom was wise.
With Windows PCs available for next to nothing, both new and refurb, with Windows pre-installed (you know Windows is not included with either emulator, right?), please, someone provide me with justification for not just buying a cheap PC to run your QuickBooks Pro, or some other application not available on MacOS?I've been a VMware Fusion user since v4. I haven't used Parallels in a long time, but when I decided between the two back then, Fusion was the far superior choice for me and still is. -
Apple Watch Ultra has exposed screws, but still a difficult repair
Appleish said:Whoda thought that a waterproof watch good for pretty deep diving would be so protected by seals, that you shouldn't mess with?
if Apple does not have that option, or makes it extremely difficult for 3rd party dive shops then this will discourage many serious divers I think. -
Two years after Apple Silicon, Intel still wants Apple to buy chips
bloggerblog said:I remember reading a while ago that Intel engineers complained that Apple was a pain in the ass, asking for features that are not on their roadmap.
