  • Generation gaps: How much faster Apple Silicon gets with each release

As much as I love my M2 MBP, I'm more a desktop user and prefer serious, desktop horsepower.  For the time being, I have a spec'd-out 2020 iMac and when the day comes where I have decide to retire it in a few more years, I'm looking forward to whatever iMac or Mac-Studio in that year.  Could be an M6 or M7, but I'm enjoying watching the advancements that Apple is doing with Apple Silicon.  Quite impressive work!

  • European Union evaluating if Corning monopolizes the smartphone screen market

I'm waiting for the EU to decide that Apple has a monopoly with MacOS and iOS and demand it be available to others.

  • Apple acquires the team behind Pixelmator Pro

I used Pixelmator long ago.  It wasn't for me and my needs but I was impressed with the software quality.  I could tell that these developers loved the product the made.  It comes to no surprise that Apple bought them.  I actually thought years ago that they would some day.

I am curious what Apple will do with it.  Maybe there's hope that Apple will bring/back Aperture with a new engine under the hood?  Apple is lacking in a package for us pro-level photographers.  We have Final Cut Pro for video professionals.  Apple needs to do the same for photographers, and the Photos app is not it.

Absolutely overpriced to begin and, and it’s so ridiculous that they charge extra for a simple color change on top of that
You're right. I should probably buy something cheaper. Now, where can I get a wireless keyboard with secure Touch ID integration and a wireless trackpad that supports all of Apple's multitouch gestures?

I'd really like to place my order....
Whiners and Apple-haters are always masters at complaining at how Apple is doing with their products, but when confronted with having to produce a 3rd-party equivalent, one just hears crickets.

  • Apple beats Wall Street predictions with record-breaking iPhone sales revenue

But...but... iPhone16 sales are "struggling"....   that's what they said.

Strangely, they're all conveniently quiet at the moment.
